Most modern Smart TVs support IPTV via dedicated apps or a built-in browser. The easiest method is an IPTV player app.
Samsung: Smart Hub → Apps. LG: LG Content Store. Android TV: Google Play Store.
Search for "IPTV Smarters", "TiviMate", or "XCIPTV Player". These are the most popular and well-supported options.
Choose either M3U URL or Xtream Codes API — your IPTV provider will give you login credentials.
Paste the M3U link or fill in the Xtream Codes server/username/password provided by your service.
The app will import your playlist. Browse categories and start watching.
Android TV boxes are the most flexible IPTV devices — they run standard Android apps and have full Google Play access.
Power on and complete the initial Android setup (Wi-Fi, Google account).
Search for "TiviMate" or "IPTV Smarters Pro" and install your preferred player.
Use M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials from your provider. Enter them in the app's "Add Playlist" section.
Add your provider's EPG URL to get the full program guide. Your service should provide this link.
Kodi is a powerful open-source media player. IPTV is added via the built-in PVR IPTV Simple Client add-on.
From the home screen: Add-ons → My add-ons → PVR clients
Click Configure → enter your M3U URL in the "M3U Play List URL" field.
In the same settings page, paste your provider's XMLTV EPG URL to enable the program guide.
After restarting, your channels will appear under TV in the main menu.
VLC is the simplest way to open an M3U playlist on any device — no extra setup required.
Available free at videolan.org for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
On mobile: tap the "+" icon → "Network stream".
Copy the M3U link from your IPTV provider dashboard and paste it into VLC.
VLC will load the playlist and you can browse available content.
iOS has several good IPTV apps available on the App Store. GSE Smart IPTV and IPTV Smarters are the most popular.
Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "GSE Smart IPTV" and install your chosen app.
Tap "Add Playlist" and choose between M3U URL or Xtream Codes API login.
Copy the exact URL or Xtream login details provided after you subscribe.
The app will load your content list. Use the built-in EPG if your provider supports it.
Desktop users can use VLC for quick access or a dedicated IPTV player for a better experience.
Options: VLC (free, cross-platform), Kodi (advanced), or check if your IPTV provider has a dedicated desktop app.
Log in to your IPTV account and copy the M3U playlist URL from your dashboard.
VLC: Media → Open Network Stream → paste URL. Kodi: see Kodi guide above.
MAG boxes use a "portal URL" method. Your IPTV provider needs to support MAG portal provisioning.
Navigate to: Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals.
Your provider will give you a portal URL (format: http://...) when you subscribe with your MAC address.
Confirm the settings, reboot the device, and the service will load automatically via the portal.
Fire Stick supports IPTV apps both from the Amazon App Store and via sideloading (APK).
Search for "IPTV Smarters" — it is available natively without sideloading.
Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Apps from Unknown Sources → ON.
Use Downloader to enter the APK URL for TiviMate or your preferred player, then install.
Open the installed app and enter your M3U URL or Xtream Codes login details.
